About Us
Today's Treasures, Tomorrow's Heirlooms

Crown Linen Designs was created in 2015 by Victoria Fanning in Kirkland, Washington. What began as a boutique endeavor has grown into a premier brand valued by those who appreciate the timeless elegance of authentic embroidery and the storied traditions of Eastern European textile design.
Arte Italica was founded in 1997 by Ann Skidmore. It began as a passion project to bring authentic, hand-crafted Italian pewter and ceramics to the U.S. Known for pioneering the combination of pewter and ceramic.
Following the passing of Ann Skidmore, the brand was acquired by Victoria and her husband Mark Fanning in 2022. Victoria had collected Arte Italica for over 20 and was the perfect ambassador to carry the brand forward.
The partnership between Arte Italica and Crown Linen Designs is defined by an uncompromising commitment to quality and a profound reverence for heritage. This rare fusion of old-world craftsmanship and modern elegance has transformed the two brands into a singular, globally recognized lifestyle experience that celebrates a "beautiful life" in every detail.
Our Core Pillars
- Handcrafted European Artistry: Every piece is a testament to the human touch. Our Arte Italica collections feature ceramics and pewter meticulously handmade and hand-painted by master Italian artisans, while our linens are sewn and intricately embroidered in Ukraine.
- Iconic Material Combinations: We are known for our signature blend of materials, such as the Tuscan Collection's marriage of hand-forged pewter and fine ceramic, creating a look that is both rustic and refined.
- Superior Textile Quality: Our linens are sourced from the finest flax, chosen for a weight and softness that only improves with time. These breathable, hypoallergenic textiles provide a luxurious foundation for both your table and your wardrobe.
- Versatile Design & Layering: We believe beauty should be effortless. Our brands were "destined to be together" because they pair so naturally, allowing you to layer our collections to create a signature look for any occasion.
- Heirloom Sustainability: Every glass, plate, and napkin is crafted to be a "treasure of today" that becomes a cherished heirloom for tomorrow, promoting a lifestyle of owning less but owning better.
